Third function

I have an L3901 with an Ansung 2454C front end loader. I want to add a third function kit. The dealer is 1.5 hours away, and I don't have a trailer. He wants $1200 installed, or $1100 for the parts.

I looked at Summit, but they do not specifically say they have a direct kit for the loader. They also don't answer the phone or return calls.

I called WR Long, and they don't sell direct. I found some off the wall company called Durratach that sells a WR Long kit they claim fits, but they also don't answer the phone or return calls.

Does anyone know of a kit that is a correct fit that is not as expensive? T

The l3901 is a piece of cake. All you need is the Summit kit or something0 equivalent. The Summit valve mounts to the loader upright and you daisy chain it off the loader valve:

Disconnect loader power beyond at tractor hydraulic manifold and connect to IN on Summit valve.

Connect OUT on Summit valve to the hydraulic block where you disconnected the loader.

Put the new handle on the loader joystick and wire in power.

Thats it.

Yes, but does that fit onto the Ansung loader correctly? I do not have a Kubota brand loader.

All you have to do is mount the valve on the loader. You may have to modify the Summit bracket or make your own but its pretty trivial. The Joystick handle is universal. If the loader does not have a joystick valve things get more complicated.

Edit: just looked at the Ansung loader for L01. Piece of cake.
