Hi guys:

I have an L2501HST with PTO HP = 19.
The RTR1258 requires 20 HP
The RTR1250 requires 15 HP

I'm sure that the 1HP I'm missing for the 1258 is fairly meaningless as it depends on soil type/condition/speed etc.

So I'm asking you guys if these are generally well suited to the L2501 and if anyone has experience with them.
I'll be tilling a large garden around 600^ft and might go bigger later if all goes well.

Thanks,
Mike

its important for the tiller to cover your tracks, I dont think the 1250 is gonna cut it on your L. I would opt for the 1258, the L should have no problem. I turned my RTA1258 with my former B2601 which was 19 PTO HP and it did just fine.

Agree with the RTR1258 the only way to go. I have my R1's set at the widest track and the 1258 covers my tracks. I have plenty of power in my heavy soil here. This size was recommended by my dealer, and I love the tiller and have 0 complaints. I run in 2- wheel drive and never have a problem.
