This tractor came with my house (you might remember me from previous postings).. it had broken belts.. I fixed that.

Last week I started the mower up and ran it around the house 3 times, ran fine but was making a transmission whine so I posted here to ask about it.. turns out it was no big deal.
This weekend we took the valve covers off to replace the gaskets as they were leaking.. that went fine (broke one, but that is not my current problem).

After putting oil back in it we tried to start it (it had been sitting for 1 week, prior it had started just fine).. cranking and cranking on it, it would not start. Checking the plugs I see they are getting no spark.. So basically it is not starting because no electricity is getting to the plugs.

Research tells me this can be a couple things.. one of the safety measures is wonky or trigered in some fashion.. or a bad "ignighter"...
I feel this has to be something real simple because it worked fine just last week.. perhaps we hit something changing the oil or valve covers? Any ideas from those that know this tractor?

Did you remove or disturb any ground wires doing the seal job?
I don't think we messed any of it up while doing the seal job. THere really aren't that many wires near the valve covers... but clearly we messed up SOMETHING or it is a real coincidence that some part or another went to heck at the same time we did the seals.

so the safety switches that I can determine are...
Seat safety switch
PTO safety switch

any I am missing?

Online I see some references to a neutral safety switch.. from what I can tell my Kubota does not have a neutral...
I have the throttle on the left (with the rabbit) and all the way up is choke but it does not say neutral. On the right side of the dash I have the PTO turn on. One the right side lower I have the break/park break and the foot throttle.. I do not see a neutral anywhere.

my Cub Cadet has neutral when in the choke position and it is labled as neutral.
