It appears that Texas has been hit with tornados and flooding as well!

Hope all of our friends there are ok as well?

Seems like some volatile weather patterns you folks down south are experiencing, this does not seem normal for this time of year?

One of the tornadoes was a little over a mile east of us as the crow flies. The towns to the south of us got hammered real bad, but the number of fatalities is very low compared to the number of homes destroyed.

This weather is normal for Spring, but definitely not for December. It was 80* during the day before the tornadoes hit that night.

we avoided the tornados and just got lots and lots of rain and then a dusting of snow. Prayers go out to those not as fortunate though. I've been saying it all year but this has to go down as one of the strangest years weather wise that I have ever seen.
