tail light bulb replacement

i have a B 2620 and have noticed that one of the tail lights isn't working, so the question is before i replace it with an OE bulb, are there LED bulbs that are brighter than the OE bulbs available and are they worth the extra cost? thanks to any responses...

Hi .. I don't know what type bulb you have,I replaced the tailight bulb on my B6100 with a 19 LED 1156 bulb from e-bay , same cost as OEM bulbs , a lot brighter. Ed

I replaced mine with led for their reduced power consumption more than light output.
