No fuel to pump, trying to access tank, fender assy disconnected, shocks loose but deck height adjustment knob/ shaft in the way of removal. Manual is no help. Any help appreciated.

The knob just pulls off of the shaft. You may have to warm it some with a heat gun or a hair drier to pull it off.
Thanks, I was debating that but was concerned about breaking it in the process.
