As a new member I want to say hi to everybody . I live in Australia and have recently purchased a Kubota t1600hst from a school nearby . It was never used for mowing but was used to spray weeds from in the school grounds . Appears not to have had a lot of hard work . I have ordered a workshop manual from the UK and I,m awaiting its arrival . The problem I,m having is that it’s going through a lot of pto belts . At 77 years of age and on a retirement pension it’s having an impact on my pockets . So far I’ve taken the pto pulleys off and cleaned any burrs off and noticed there was a little bit of play in the bottom pulley bearing . Have ordered a new set of bearings for this pulley and the tension pulley . What I would love to know is how to tension the belts properly .
