I want to put an electric fan (12V, magnetic mounted) on top of the dashboard because it's just been too dang hot while I'm hogging weeds and brush. So, I need a source of electricity that's only hot when the ignition switch is on. Is there a relatively easy place to tap into, hopefully under the hood, or do I need to open up the instrument panel? This is for an L3400HST, by the way.
I don't want to connect directly to something that's always live (like the battery connectors) because even with the fan running I'm sure to have a brain fart and leave the thing running with the engine off, and run down the battery.
