On several youtube video, the way they change out the bucket to the stump bucket is to disconnect the bucket, hookup the pallet fork, and then take the forks out and reinsert it with the stump bucket.

is the pallet frame a requirement to using the stump bucket? Where can i buy just the pallet frame for l2501? Are they universal? Newbie here. Thank you.

sounds like the artillian system, wouldn't recommend it. (unless maybe if you dont have SSQA)

Got the SSQA, just want to learn how the stump bucket gets attached to the loader arm.

oh ok, if its the artillian system you are talking about... you buy the $800 "quick attach frame", so now you have a quick attach on your quick attach, then you slide the stump bucket onto the frame, it hangs on the frame with ears, then you put these metal dogs in to lock it into place. The stump bucket is effective, but its pretty light duty, and somewhat short. Good for a sub compact or compact. I think a heavier machine would do better with something like the stump bucket from GoodWorks Tractor, its a little bigger

I bought the stump bucket from Good Works tractor for my B2601. Haven't tried it yet but the Artillian has too much "stuff" although you do get forks that way.... I'm anxious to get the stump bucket out and give it a try, Good Works has some videos of it in operation, looks awesome!

i see some prefer the smaller (8”) tip as it may cut better?
Does it matter what type of SSQA pallet frame i have? Will any stump bucket able to hang on to the pallet frame? Is there a compatibility issues between different pallet frame and stump buckets made but different makers?

lastly, can anyone recommend a decent valued stump bucket? I have heard of hla, goodworks, titan.. Thanks.

If the system you are referring to in your first post is artillian, then you can only use artillian products with their frame.

If you have SSQA on your loader then any SSQA attachment will work.
