Stuffed Onions

I had a couple of these in the smoker, yesterday while I was splitting wood. Put in some mixed sawdust of cherry hickory and I think some apple. Didnt put in much smoke flavor, but pretty tasty with a cold beverage none the less

Yesterday wanted to kick up a burger so patted out thin patties, put blue cheese crumbles and shredded cheese on one and covered it with another. Pinched the edges all around and threw them on the grill. Can you say "Decadent"? Put tomatoes and onions on it and a baked potato on the side with some garlic bread and a glass of red wine. Good Sunday meal and most was from our garden and local beef from our freezer. Wife and I agreed that we are definitely spoiled when it comes to food.

Thanks for showing this recipe! I love BB Pit Boys. Those guys come up with some terrific recipes, but I didn't know about the stuffed onions. I have some burger thawing in the fridge and gonna smoke them and some baby back ribs tomorrow. Yum!
