I have a B2150 HST and want to change the strainer. The bolt is stuck and I am afraid to put too much pressure on it for fear of twisting it off. Are there any tricks to removing it?

First post BTW
Thanks!

I had difficulty removing the suction strainer on my B1750 upon first change. Could not remove it with hand tools on the ground.

Finally removed the left wheel/tire and removed it easily with an impact wrench and 6 point socket.

You will not twist it off.

Did you use an air impact?

I cannot remember.

I have both air and electric.

Either will work.

Use a six point socket and do not use an extension.

By the way, the strainer need not be changed, but only cleaned. It is permanent if not damaged.
