the three point control lever started getting a lot harder to move yesterday while I was using my three point snow blower on a M5140. Is there any lube spots that I need to do?

The control linkage has several pivot points, I would start with spraying those down with some good penetration lube.
If that doesn't work you might have to adjust the tension on the holder for the control.
