I'm going to try something, but I won't find out until spring as I have already just changed my hydro oil again.

I picked up a pail of Super UDT from the States to try in my B2620. Here in Canada we only have Premium UDT and I keep reading they are different.

My trans was quiet but once I did that first 50 hour change with the Canadian oil I noticed I got that hydro whine everyone speaks of.

I can't wait to see if the two oils make a difference.

Why don't you try a controlled experiment? Video with sound at specific rpms etc before and after the change. I thought it did make a difference but I didn't have much whine and it is so subjective.
