Spark plug alternative for Sidekick XG850

Hello,

Has anyone come up with an alternative plug number for the Sidekick XG850? The NGK number MR7J-9 doesn't seem to cross over to any other plug number, NG said its a proprietary number to Kubota but I can imagine there isn't a similar plug wondering around somewhere

similar to Polaris, that plug is proprietary to the manufacturer. In other words, the manufacturer specified a spark plug, NGK made it and at this time there aren't any equivalents. The Polaris plug I'm referring to is MR7F; while similar it is not the exact same.

Check an auto parts store.

Sometimes Denso will make an "equivalent" but there's no telling what small difference there is. Ideally, you're probably best to stay with NGK if at all possible.
