I have a 15 year old MK Martin SB-60 snow blower. I was servicing it today for the winter and noticed a separated chain link side bar. I removed the chain and in the process of making a new one. I found that the drive end of the auger is eccentric by about 1/4" and has sideways movement about the same.
I'm looking for advice from anyone that has tried to straighten an auger. I don't know if the shaft is an integral part of the assembly or is removable.
