I would avoid anything that folds up like the one OP posted if you are hauling anything more than leaves and mulch. If you filled that cart up with dirt a few times I bet you'd break it. 800lb capacity is really light weight. I have an Ohio Steel "15" cu ft. cart and even that with a 1k limit is small.

Every Spring, Princess Auto sells the 'mini farm wagon' for about $250. Had 3 at one time.GREAT wagons but lousy tires,bit better IF you put tubes in and keep35 PSI though )
I had a steel dump trailer until neighbour's tree cam a visiting... somehow it missed the cedar shed, attached cedar pergola and destroyed the trailer ,parked under the pergola. I was going to play 'pickup sticks' but he come over while I was at the Vets. I'll build a new trailer with 'scrap steel' from his dumpster come Spring ( 50 days ,not that I'm counting...)

I really like my MUTS trailer made in Canada. Tilts, holds a ton, same width as my 4 wheeler.

They're about 300.00 so not terrible. I wouldn't consider a new metal yard cart. They bend looking at them. I bought what was a mid size running gear by farm tuff. It was rated for 1500 pounds also. I built it and being 180 I was flexing it.
I ended up buying a real 10 running gear for the same price.
That'd be too big for your needs it's too big for my lx and not save to tow fully loaded but just showing you want 500.00 could get. With spring coming up I'd keep an eye on consignment auctions. A lot of farmers might have something home made That'd be up your alley and name your price.
there's an untouched 'pergola' overhead as well. tree limb came from tree 25-30' to the right on neighbours property.HOW it missed shed and pergola is beyond me...

I wouldn't be opposed to the Harbor Freight 40"x48" trailer for general off-road use. Throw your own deck and sides on there and away you go.

No sure about that, it is not "plastic" and I am sure with an 800 pound capacity someone has tossed some dirt/rocks in it... If they broke quickly the interwebs would be full of 1000's complaints

I've hauled everything from broken concrete, concrete blocks, topsoil, compost, mulch, and lawn debris in mine, over the 5~6 years I've had it, with no problems or any signs of deterioration. The only 'problem' I've experienced with it has been soil/mulch/compost getting into the hinge pockets. A bit of scraping with a stick or hitting it with the garden hose quickly cures that.
Tossing jagged ,heavy rocks into any 'plastic' tub ,in the middle of a cold winter WILL probably shatter the tub...
BTW 'wagons' are nice as you can easily unhook,go do other stuff also more stable when hauling.

I don't have experience with thos one, but for a little more cash, it appears heavier duty with more capacity. Both weight and volume.
True, but very unlikely I'll be doing that sort of work in the winter months.
I said that once, yet every winter city snowplow decide to 'rearrange' the rocks(50-150# each..) I put along the base of the hill 3 feet from the road.......... Tempted to put 1,000 boulder as a 'warning sign'.......
Yeah, I'll need to strengthen up my mailbox this year I think, starting to get a nice lean to it from the plow.
"Full", no problem. "Loaded" might be. However, he did indicate light duty landscaping. I think the 1880 capacity is 1700ish lbs for towing. Even if he never puts that much weight in it, the added volume cap could be helpful.
So are you just looking for affirmation? Ok, its great, just buy it!!!

There is a small road legal utility trailer here but every once in a blue moon it'd be nice to have something even smaller. Years ago I gave a mini trailer to a guy at work because it was too small for anything serious and it seemed every time I went to use it one of the tires was flat. My first thought is I'd be better off with either something that could go QA on the front or 3PH on the rear..

I'm with chim and couple others - - my 3-point Carry All is my little trailer.
I have a Quick Hitch and can pick it without getting off the tractor.
With a BX I'm limited in payload, but 19 times out of 20 it's quicker, easier, and never has a flat tire.....
