Havine sensor issues... Please help!

On the air intake duct, a small round sensor seems to have failed. The indicator light came on while tilling. Once I slowed RPM, the light goes out. I changed the air filter, but at 2000 RPM, the light comes on. I disconnect the sensor, NO light at any RPM.
Can the sensor parts be stuck or is this a sign that the sensor has failed completely?
Where would one purchase this sensor? The number stamped on the sensor, is, 258171
Any advice will be great.
