Perhaps I should rephrase my question. Does anybody here know what a supplemental cooling additive is and if so, do you use it in your Kubota diesel to prevent cavitation?

I would say no as your Kubota does not have a wet sleeve cylinder. The best bet is to change your coolant every 3-5 years, assuming you are using long life diesel antifreeze.
