Well almost... sure looks like it! :D Perhaps I should say a snagle toothed Kubota..

What's it used for? Turns out vertical ground plane antennas (this case a tower) needs a ground plane & the ground itself is too lossy.. so "radial' wires in this case 66 of them 90 feet long are buried just enough 3 - 4" to keep hungry mowers from balling up all the hard placed wire..

The "finger" (I know it is a "tooth") on the snagle toothed bucket is a speedy way to make the shallow trench for the wire..

I use my subsoiler with an eye welded to the foot. That is also how I install water pipes, but we have no "frost line" to speak of. If the pipe is below the grass roots, it will not freeze.

Blows my mind, not having to worry about frost in the ground. I'm jealous, up here everything goes down 60".

So you are pulling the water pipe through the ground?
We welded a pipe to the shaft of the sub soiler ending just behind to shoe and as it moved forward the water line was fed down the pipe into the trough and dirt falls in on top of the pipe. so there is no pulling on the pipe which is good if you need to put a joint in the line

yeah I don't miss that any. But I also don't much care for the slop we have right now with all the rain from February. Everything is just MUD. Mower gets stuck, truck gets stuck, I get stuck. Only good thing about it is that it ain't froze solid.

Come August it will be rock hard and hotter than Africa. I guess if we wanted good weather we'd have to worry about earthquakes and fires.

Yes, I have pulled in 4-500 feet of PVC pipe in one pull just as described above. Stretch it out and glue it all up before pulling. After it is down, unhook and drive the tractor over the "trench" several times to walk it down.
