Concerned what may be lurking under the rubber floor mat on my BX23. Saw a vid where the spring clips basically are destroyed upon removal. I'd like to get under there and see what's developing if anything in terms of rust. Any good suggestions?

Whatever it takes,....get that mat off, and thoroughly clean the deck up with OSPHO, or a similar rust converter product!
Do not apply a new/replacement mat, ....unless you want to continue creating even more rust!

There was a post here last week or so from someone who stripped his and did a bedlner on it, top and bottom. He really liked it.

He took it in to a professional bedliner place and said it was worth the money. Others suggested the brush on DIY would be as good but cheaper.

My BX25 has the rubber attached by plastic upholstery clips. Those are pretty much one use, but they are replaceable. I think I need to pull it off one of these days.

EDIT: Here's the thread.
