I have been toying with the idea of using a relocation kit because the RTV's oil filter is side mounted on the left side of the engine down just far enough to make it difficult to remove from above or below.
Has anyone done this on an RTV or any other machine? Any downsides or reasons for not doing it?
I don't think anyone makes an actual kit for the RTV and the information I've found is this:

- A remote filter base
- Hoses (that can withstand the oil, pressure, and heat) and clamps
