I am new to Orange as my brother bought a used Kubota 2015 I think. All of a sudden it started overheating after he had it for a couple years. I changed the water pump, head gasket, thermostat The sensor on the head and the one on the thermostat housing. After refilling the coolant system and letting it heat up the thermostat opened up so everything seemed fine then the next day after 1 hour of running it overheated. It has a 3 cylinder diesel. Thank in advance for any information.

Maybe you need to clean the radiator on the outside? The fins may be full of dirt or chaff. If it was me, I would probably try to look through it with a light on the far side to see if it is plugged. If you can’t see it though just remove it and soak it in a cleaning solution and wash it out with a hose. Don’t use a pressure washer since you can bend the fins and ruin the radiator.

And I forgot to say that Kubota puts screens in front of the radiator on tractors. I assume they have a similar set up so you should look at it and make sure it is clean also.

First, what is the complete model number?
Does it have Hi &Lo forward ranges, or does it have Hi, Med, & Lo ranges?
Is the Park Brake handle to the left of the seat or is it left of the steering wheel?
If it is actually a 2015, it is an RTV-X1100, which is very different from the RTV1100.
If it is an RTV-X1100, did you bleed the cooling system when it was refilled?
