Hi, I have a RTV 900 is there a way of working out what year model it is? The compliance plate is unreadable.

I need to order some parts for the transmission and motor.

The 9th digit of your VIN plate tells you the year (when the VIN is 16 characters). When the VIN is 17 characters, it's the 10th position.
