a simple answer is YES !!!!!!,, The PTO till have the HP of your tractor turning it, it is wider and a lot heaver than what ever hand tiller your thinking of using and a hell of a lot less work ;) Now remember with ANY tiller the first couple passes you make are shallow on new ground or hard pan, enough to get the grass and scrub cleaned off, then next pass lower it down an inch or 2 if its really hard, and run through the whole thing you want tilled, and then drop it 2 or 3 more inches and so on and so on until your all the way down. spend a couple of hours and you will have a fine food plot for the critters

Went to auction to buy a Howard tiller. Did not know anything about it. The farmer hooked it up to his tractor which was also selling and started tilling in a hay field. Well that was real salesman ship on his part. Going to do some deer plots in northwest Ohio with it as soon as heat breaks. You will need a tractor with a low speed or the tiller will just push you right along. A couple of passes and you will be happy.
