I have a 3 light set on my L3901. I like it, the install was really easy and they are bright. You probably could source everything separately cheaper, but for me having everything in one package was worth it. I wish I would have gotten the 4 light set.
I have thought about getting a set for the zero turn for the late season mowing.

If you keep the lighting amperage below the charging amps of the dynamo or alternator you can go as nuts as you want with LED's

With the 3 light set, I assume your set up is 2 facing forward and 1 rear. Are they all on at once or is the rear on a separate switch setting?

Yes.

I have the 3 light set as well on my B2601, love them.

BUT....if you are envisioning a nicely hidden wire run internally etc. this is not the kit for you. These come pre wired, switch is sealed up well and ready to go.....all ready for external install with heavy zip ties etc.

Work amazing. I have run them blowing snow and it is like daylight, 2 front and 1 rear for the back blade.....

Highly recommend. These Canadians take their ROPS lights seriously.......

What doghandler said.

Also, this may seem obvious or simple but the Rear light comes labeled with a sticker "rear" so there is no guess work.

I did wrap my ROPS with black vinyl tape where I was mounting the bracket for additional "stickiness" and to keep from unnecessarily scratching the ROPS......

Thanks for the responses on the reverse light switch and set up.

I have the 4 light setup on my MX. 2 front and 2 rear, each set on their own switch. They are plenty bright, and were complete plug and play. (My MX has a set of factory extra connectors under each fender). They came with plenty of extra harness that I rolled up and zip tied.
My only complaints are that the switch boxes are just cheap plastic that aren't weatherproof, and the toggle switches are the illuminated type but were not wired in so they light up. I called and talked to John? and he said they couldn't be wired in to illuminate???

So I’ve gotta ask how these aged on the L? I have an L3302 and per the owners manual maximum wattage is 35 between both auxiliary plugs, combined, and each of the lights run at 27 watts?
Do I risk running the battery down?

Save some money.
I got the 20" light bar that WFM refers to off Amazon but with 2 singles to face backwards AND the wiring harness AND switch included - currently $42. Couple extra dollars for water tight connectors and good to go, turns night into day.

Didn't like my first choice mounting the 20" bar with brackets (shown in the picture) so I switched to heavy duty magnets under the ROPS, hasn't fallen off in 4 years. Used existing holes in the ROPS to mount the singles pointing back, one facing slightly down for 3 pt. hook ups and one facing further back.

That’s pretty slick! Do those plug into the work light Jack or did you have to run them back to the battery? I’m avoiding the extra labor here. lol

I hooked them right to the battery instead of going through a keyed relay or some such. Pretty simple install. The only down side so far is I have to check that the lights aren't left on after my 3 year old grandson comes to visit. He loves to move ALL the switches on the tractor. (note: the key is hung up well out of reach or else he'd be taking it for a spin. LOL).

The on / off button included in the kit fit right into the where the cruise control would have gone. Since the BX1880 does not have CC it was the prefect spot. Instructions included were simple enough that even I could follow them. 🤪

I bought an after market ROPS bracket. I went thru tractor supply for my lights wiring and switches. I figured this way if I have issues since it’s a plug and play system I can replace the issue. One set facing forward one set facing rear. I mounted two switches in the gear selection housing. I can post pics if it interests anyone.

I use a Kubota BX 25 for winter snow removal. Unless we are talking 3 or 4 feet of snow all at once,
I will almost always wait for the snow to quit falling before I go outside and clear the driveways.
Sometimes, that is in the middle of the night. (no nearby neighbors that would complain)
I use the FEL bucket with a pair of these to avoid blacktop and turf damage.

First I installed some Amazon sourced LED replacement headlight bulbs.
They work great as long as the FEL bucket, or big pile of snow in the bucket doesn't block the headlights.

Being somewhat disappointed in the BX lighting department for nighttime winter snow removal,
I then decided to go big. I ordered four of this item from Amazon.

Yep, I'm THAT guy that drilled and tapped a few holes in the ROPS for mounting lighting equipment.
I mounted four of those Amazon light bars on the ROPS. (front, rear, left, right)
My BX has a factory switched/fused accessory wire at the rear of the tractor.
It powers all four light bars easily. I measured the current draw of all four lights running simultaneously,
and it was less than the rated accessory wire/fuse capacity. I was going to set up a heavy gauge wire directly from the battery with a relay, but never did it. My BX has a 40 AMP alternator, and easily handles the aftermarket upgraded lighting. I mounted one toggle switch which controls all four light bars.

One of the small snow storms we get in upstate NY.

Over time using the BX 25 at my rural recreational property for woods work, both the left and right side light bars have sustained damage. I have removed the left/right side light bars and taped up the wiring.
The front/rear facing light bars have never sustained any damage. If it happens, I will replace the front/rear facing light bars with something even bigger/brighter.

It is extremely satisfying to be able to go do nighttime snow removal or emergency backhoe work when it's pitch black outside and be able to see.
