ROPS interchangeability

I scared myself a little bit with a giant rock in my loader the other day. The bucket was no more than three inches off the ground when I realized one of the back wheels was also three inches off the ground. I wasn't in any real danger of rolling over but it got me thinking about ROPS and the lack of one on my L245 again.

There aren't any new ones available through the Kubota dealer and I occasionally browse for used ones, but the L245 only came with them the last year of production so they're pretty rare. Does anyone know if a ROPS for something like a L2350 would bolt on without it turning into a big fabrication project? I'm asking about that in particular because I've got a tab open with one for sale.

Yes I think that it should work.
The mount for the L2350 ROPS is a simple clamp to the axle and you also have square axles on your l245.

Thanks. I haven't been able to find a good picture online but it really looks like it should bolt up. I might go ahead and take the gamble.

BTW, I went with your recommendations for the clutch disk and pressure plate. So far so good!
