Yesterday, after changing out an old worn belt for a brand new one, and 3 seconds after starting the engine I had cooling fluid spraying out from the water pump pulley area.

Have any of you attempted to change the water pump assembly yourself? It seems to me that I will need to remove the radiator assembly to pull out the broken water pump.

Any experiences you may want to share?

Cheers,

Roland :(

On most models it's not a requirement to remove the radiator.
No special tools to do it, so if you have some mechanical knowledge jump in and change it. ;)

Thanks NIW,

It does not look complicated and I will get started this PM. I just don't know if I have enough room to take out the WP on my M4500DT.
New OEM water pump should arrive tomorrow!

Cheers,

Roland
