Hi Warren,

I'm guessing the splines either on the shaft or in the lift arm (or both) are stripped. You will need to remove the lift arm to figure out where the problem is. To take it off, completely remove the bolt, don't just loosen it. It should then slide off the shaft. The problem should then be obvious.

Once you've figured out which part is stripped, you will need to order a new one from Kubota.

Good luck,

Steve

Adding to with with Apogee said. It also could be that the rock shaft is twisted off inside the case.

I agree with the others, and /or the right side is the side with an adjustable arm, is that adjustment working right?

Looking at the upper lift arms........

Do they move independently of each other?

If they move independently, does the shaft move with each arm?

If the shaft moves with each arm the shaft has snapped.

If the shaft moves with only one arm and the other arm moves independent of the shaft the splines of the shaft and arm are ruined.

It's one or the other, which is it?

Thanks for your reply you can pick up the right arm by hand and the shaft doesn't move so it must be the spline but where the bolt that attaches it to the shaft

Did you remove the bolt and slide the arm off?

Is the spline on the arm or the shaft gone? or both?

Pull the bolt out, pull the arm off, look and see if the splines are still on the shaft or not, it could be that the splines in the arm are gone (most likely), get new arm, install arm, super easy fix.;)
If the splines are off on the rock shaft, then your in for a little bit of work, about a days worth of work.
