Remove Replace Belly Mower L225

Ok had to guess how to remove belly mower from L225 cause tractor w/mower was too wide for trailer. ended up jacking up the front end of tractor after removing all pins and chains from Mower/Tractor and snaking mower out the side and under front tires. Put it all on the trailer and got Tractor and mower home. Now got to put it back on at 8:30am Sun morning the 19th.

Any re-install hints? Manual online anywhere?


edit: found below manual. Not sure it is the right one at the moment. Quick glance and nothing in there about remove/install except it says Dealer should have installed it before purchase.

If you know it is a Woods mower, go to the Woods equipment webslte. They have great product support even for older equipment. I filled out a request for an older rear finish mower last summer. Within a day they had sent me a pdf of the complete operators and parts manual.

I just grabbed an Operators Manual off of Ebay for the Kubota RC60-25, RC72-25 and RC72-28 Rotary Mowers. Here are some scans of the mounting procedure. Not sure if it will help with your Woods deck, but it might give you some ideals.

Where would a Woods model number stamped into the thing? There is a large sticker on it of the model number but it is no longer readable. Sticker is something like WOODS L3??

Mucho thanx. Im curious if this one could be dragged in similar to the page that showed turn a hard left to be able to snake the unit into place. Think one other part we didn't unbolt would have to be removed to make that happen. Certainly can't be done in the grass though. Must be done on flat cement or similar. Luckily my neighbor's driveway was available.

Anyway....... got it done and working. The mower housing measures 71ish inches wide so is this a 72" mower or does the "inch" measurement actually represent the cutting width and not the housing width.

Mine was on a metal tag that was riveted to the frame. I sold the mower. I can't remember exactly where it was riveted to. Email Woods I bet they can help.
