Relief valve

I’ve got a loud whining sound on my B2650. I had a mechanic look at it and he said it possible could be your relief valve is going bad. About how much do they run and are they hard to install. Thanks for the help in advance

Have you done ANY diagnostics to confirm that "diagnosis"?

Have you checked to make sure all the hydraulics are working?

Have you checked to make sure you are not deadheading the system?

Yea everything is working as it should. Loaded and 3pt is working fine. All the fluids are good. The hydraulic are running at 2450 psi

That does not sound like a relief valve issue. Since you have a gauge what is the open circuit neutral pressure?

Quit guessing. Measure the open circuit neutral pressure.
