Hi guys and girls new to posting here but not new to site.almost done rebuilding and painting backhoe had most pin holes drill and bushings installed.now that in using it have little more work to do.bottom main pin on boom loose .I'm going to drill out bottom hole on boom and hammer in bushings.
Hole will be 1 1/4 bushing down to 1 inch.
Will hole find basic center or close when I drill it ,does not need to be perfect do you think it will line up?

I am just finishing up the same job on my Woods BH750 which is the same as yours with a slightly longer digging depth. (Woods made the 4520) I used a 1 1/8" bridge reamer on my mill/drill to enlarge the holes. Then pressed in bushings. Next I used a 1" bridge reamer to true the diameter of the bushings after I pressed them in.
I think you will find that you will need to ream them true after you install the bushings.
