I just found out that my L3800 has a 10 amp fuse marked "Work Light" in the fuse panel. I poked around in the back of my tractor and found an un-used two wire connector under the left fender, by the lights. I also checked the Illustrated Parts List for the 3800 on Kubota's site and see that they sell a Rear Work Light Kit, L8327. I am thinking about ordering this kit from my dealer. Has anyone mounted this kit on their tractor? How do you like it? I can't tell from the sketch in the parts list, does it have a switch built into the light holder?

I don't really think people are ignoring you - there is a fair chance we don't have the Kubota kit. You most likely have the correct wires - they are hot as long as the tractor is ON. I put a couple of 55W lights on my L3200, along with a switch. Since I have the surrey top, I mounted the lights and switch to the left side mounting bracket for the top.
The first time I rev'd the engine, the 10A fuse blew. I replaced it with a 15A and it works fine.
Somebody is selling LED tractor aux lights on ebay for about $70 ea. They would solve the fuse blowing issue, but at a premium price.

Well I installed the L8327 rear work light kit on my L3800 yesterday. It was a very easy installation. Since the wire harness on the tractor has a connector already in line, the work light just plugs in. The light bracket is about 1/8 inch thick and attaches to the ROPS. I don't know the wattage of the bulb. The light housing does have a switch. I will see if I can post a couple of photos.

Here are a few photos of the light. The instruction sheet that came with the light says it made for L3130, L3430, L3830, L4330, L4630, L5030, L3200, L3800, L4600. It sure is bright. I think its a 35w watt bulb. It was real easy to install. The first photo shows how it connects to the connector already in the harness. Can't wait to scrape some snow to see how it works.

Looks like a pretty good arrangement! You'll be needing sunglasses...
