Decided to jack up the BX to see if I can just spin the wheels without needing jack stands (they are all bit too tall) to install winter tire chains. Worse case just use some of the odd lengths of treated 4x4 siting around and stack a up couple like building a crib. Rotated one wheel and noticed the other wheel rotates in the opposite direction. Hope that it's normal?

It’s a “differential”…. just like most autos.

Now, go down to Harbor Freight, and get yourself some decent jackstands!
I bought a nice pair of aluminum ones with my 10% discount.
SAFETY!
