Hello, I’m a new member here. Just bought a used MX4800. Would like to add 2 rear hydraulic controls for box blade. Went to dealer yesterday they weren’t sure what to sell me. Where is a good source. Would like to have controls to fit in OEM locations.

Go to the Kubota website and select online parts on the navigation bar. Enter your model number and you will find the kits in the Options section.

Dont talk to the parts department. Talk to a sales person. They should have the dealer configuration guide which lists exactly what pieces are needed from that options list. Expect a $2000 plus quote.

L8303 is double acting valve.
L8304 is float detent.
You can chose up to 3 of these, if float is needed, it can only go in 3rd position.

MX8451 is first lever kit, this will have the lever and hoses/couplers in it.
MX8452 is second.
MX8453 third.

Like Hokie said, find a salesman to order these WholeGoods. Prepare for a long wait and high cost.

Trying to do the same thing. Have a single remote now. Fancied adding 2 float valves. Curious about your statement that I can only have float in 3rd position. I thought these valves were pretty interchangeable, position-wise. What's the scoop?

The float detent adds an inch plus to the length of the valve and on some models that causes interference problems in some positions. Good bet Matt has it right but the Whole Goods catalog will tell you exactly what combinations work on each model.

I was incorrect. The float valve goes in the #2 spot. Not mine, but here is a picture. The valve will fit in the 3rd position, but I believe the lever doesn't have enough "throw" in the bracket to be useful.

This is on a 6000. Your 4800 will be different lever layout.

LMAO - that is the number one issue I have been fighting with my aftermarket valves for the L01's. I "think" I just found the fix for that last night.
