Hi guys, I'm in the market for a tractor and I'm looking at the l3301 and l3901. Got prices over the phone of 23900 and 25900. These are msrp far as I can tell. They are offering 0% for 60 months, rebate on tractor which brings them down to 22400 and 24400, plus an implement rebate of 750 on the 33 and 1k on the 39. Those numbers were with loader and QA buckets. I'm curious as to what people are paying out the door for equivelant tractors. Also looking to add forks to the package deal. I am in NH if it helps price wise. Thanks.

In the past - I have heard that retail minus about 10-12% gets you in the ball park. I guess it is going to depend on the dealers attitude and how much he thinks he needs to make. Looking the tractor up on Kubota's site - then subtract and see what you come up with!

Is that from Chapel equipment in Milford? A friend of mine has got allot of equipment from them. I have dealt with them several times - service and questions, and they have been very helpful. I would at least check them out.

That was MB. I talked to Chappel tonight. They were the same price on the 3901, but included forks and a 72" rear blade. I'm headed this weekend to look at them. Trying to weigh new vs used and it's not easy. I'm also looking at a grand 3540 with 500 hrs and a 3830 with 350hrs. Too many decisions.

I bought mine at MB in Plaistow and was very happy with the price and the service. They deal with alot of contractors and very big $$$$ equipment and I never felt like I was less important due to my "cheap" purchase. I did have a couple issues after the sale, 1: The tires were not loaded (hopefully that was an honest mistake and not a revenue driver for owners that don't check) and I paid for loaded tires and 2) I has a small leak from a hydro fitting. The showed up the next day to pick it up. Filled the tires and went through the machine and had it back to me same day.

Granted it was a prior year leftover but I scored it for 20% below MSRP but that was a cash price out the door.

I just got a 3901 (6 hours now!) and I love it. New vs used is tough, especially when they give you 0% interest. It's free money. Compared to what I paid those prices seem a little high. Of course, I don't live in New England. Good luck with your decision.
