Maybe someone here can help, I have a G4200 with the 48" RC deck. The deck belt broke and from everything I read and according to the part number it take a 5/8x91" belt. Well I can tell you it does not fit. It is to short and that is unquestionable. Does anyone, I mean anyone out there know what size belt fits this deck? This stuff drives me crazy, how can it be so difficult to find the right belt? Anyway I would appreciate if someone would fill me in.

should be a number somewhere on the old belt, Most times one of the numbers is the length, If not then you can measure the old belt if it is not too far gone, If that is the case then take a piece of 3/8" rope and wind it around the pulleys according to the belt diagram and mark where they overlap, That will give you a good starting point, Remember to account for the tension on the idler pulley
