Radio and Camera addition to M7060 Cab

Some customizing I thought may be of interest, added a radio, it was fun trying to find the wires, they were taped in the middle of the headliner so had to drop one side to find them, the hook up was strait forward and easy to figure out the wires, listing them below if anyone else needs them since most I found listed did not apply to my tractor, beats the dealer and the 250 they wanted.

Also added a camera with infrared for the rear and monitor so I would not have to constantly look back on certain tasks. I will be adding a front camera as well once I get time next week, and if I get bored I can always watch a dvd.


Radio Wiring for M7060, M6060 and a few with Ultra Grand Cab.

Red (supposedly) constant hot not on mine anyway,
Blue/ Yellow stripe switched hot with ignition
Black is Common
White Left speaker positive
White/ Black stripe left speaker neg.
Yellow Right speaker positive
Yellow/ Black stripe Right speaker neg.

I think I've heard that you need to add a fuse for the red wire to become a constant hot.

Tell us more about the camera. Brand, pros/cons, and where you got it. my dad has an old M6800 cab tractor and I am considering getting him a camera for Christmas. He is 79YO and has a hard time turning around to look back at hay bails, bailing operations, and just general backing up. Would love to hear more about that part of your install and maybe see some exterior pictures. Thanks
