OK, I goofed. Putting in fill on my road in my woods on Saturday and a stick came up from underneath and damaged my radiator. Didn't notice for about 20 minutes and by that time my temp was redlined. Towed it home and she still starts and runs so I didn't seize anything. The damage on the radiator is extensive enough that it can't be repaired. Anyhow, got the radiator out and now looking for a replacement. The only thing I can find for a replacement is to buy the whole radiator assembly (including fan shroud, cap and a bunch of other stuff that I don't need). All I need is the radiator itself. On TractorJoe, a radiator for an L3400HST sells for about $240 which seems reasonable. However, the whole assembly goes for over $650 from Messicks. Anyone got any other ideas? I was hoping the radiator for the L3400HST would be compatible but the TractorJoe guy didn't think it was. Any other online sites besides Messicks that are cheaper? Local service is just as expensive as Messicks. Thanks in advance and I apologies for mistreating ol' Nelly as she is a good girl and puts up with my abuse.

No a L3400, or many others will not fit properly.
Nobody I found, sells just the radiator.
