Hey guys. Anyone have a good spot to buy a decent aftermarket radiator for a M7040? Any help is appreciated!

depending on your problem, most good repair shops have the capability to repair radiators. The heavy duty (tractor-trailer) shop here has a dedicated shop that usually gives a one day turn around. Otherwise, you will be looking at Messicks, the dealer, or possibly eBay.

Thank you Captain13. I actually ordered that exact radiator prior to seeing your post. $300 vs. $950 from the dealer. Hope it holds up. Existing radiator took a big rock or stick through it. Would be a tough repair. Appreciate your input!

Glad to help. It should be ok as a replacement. That’s about right for a radiator these days.

Well…the one they offer for my M4700 is $1290! THAT ain’t “right for a radiator these days.! (Messicks wants …“only”… $800 for OEM.)

Ok. From what I see at different garages in this area, that’s about right for a radiator these days. I see it more from the wholesale end of parts rather than the retail side. I have been working at an auto parts store for several years and when I need parts, I get them through some of the shops we deal with. They get things a lot cheaper than I can working at a parts store. Go figure.
