R-4 and R-14 tractor tires

Good pics!

I keep a tire groover in my amazon cart waiting for it to go on sale. I wouldn't mind a little extra winter traction by adding some grooves in my R4's. For now I have a single row of studs in my R4's and am planning to add a second row as they wear.

Here is a side by side for the MX5400 with R4 & R14 Tires. The Newer R4 size 17.5L-24INO. The R14 size is 440/80R24. Then the newer style R4 and the R14

What brand are the R4 17.5L-24INO? I can't seem to find that newer lug pattern.

I wonder if those are exclusive to kubota since it looks like they have their logo on the tire?

I could be wrong, but I believe Kubota has a R14 tire made just for them by manufacture Titan/Goodyear. You should be able to purchase them through your local Kubota dealer if you want that brand.

If you mow a lot of fields the R-14's provide a much smoother ride than a R-4.
