Question: M7060HDC12 Removal of FEL valve?

On a Kubota M7060HDC12 I need to remove its FEL hydraulic control valve. Do I have to drain the tractor's hydraulic oil reserve to do this?

I looked in my M7040 FEL WSM. It is silent on draining. However, the valve is low and once you start I think you will wish you had drained the fluid.

The WSM has many cautions about marking the hoses and getting them back in the correct location otherwise damage.

Why do you have to remove the valve?
