Weight doesn't push traction does...
so to continue on with my theory. If he has all kind of weight on the front due to the front blade. Remove some dirt from scoop. May have enough weight on rears for the proper traction because he has chains. Or remove scoop completely and add some rear wheel weights directly over the rear axles. I didn't say removing the scoop would work I said just try. may be cheap fix.

Yeah, proper application of weight is clearly key. Doesn't help much if the added weight is over a fulcrum (like the front axle that may be damaged due to excess traction) and lifting weight off the traction surface for the primary drive.
