You might want to put down some like Ram board down to help protect floors and walls from grease or scratches.

Yes sir; I am going to protect the tile with 3/4 plywood (2 layers).

Thats what I used when I brought the lathe in.

I am currently designing/building a “trolly system” to bring the pieces/parts in with.

It will be 'very similar' to what @Kennyd4110 posted.

I also/unfortunately live in a subdivision and our "Home owners association" is apparently headed by one of these guys...
