Purging New Hyd Cyl

Do you have to prime a new cylinder, or otherwise how do you purge the air out of the system ? Valve, cylinder, hoses.

You should be able to just cycle it in and out a couple of times and it will be ready to work.

The hydraulic system is a loop. The fluid flows thru each valve, then back into the reservoir. So all you need to do is cycle the cylinders to their full extent a few times and the air should be purged.

Your reservoir has a breather to let the air out.
