First post. First Tractor. Got the L3560 cause I just got tired of waiting on the FEL for a L4060. I ordered the 4060 but there was no FEL to be found, and after doing some reading I flipped to the 3560. Maybe I haven't messed up too bad. I am using this on about 15-20 ac for some bush hogging and raking/loading some round bales and a little bit of square bales. I have someone else rolling for me but I may be doing the mowing. Comments suggestions, critiques and general making fun of me is allowed.

Waiting on the spec sheet now, but I think it is the 805. I am getting the cab too.
Cab, lights, rear remote, lights, radio.

Sounds nice. I didn't think I needed the cab - planning on lots of work in the woods and the cab is quite a bit more $$ over open station, besides, I'm a "convertible guy". You definitely want the LA805 FEL for the added lifting capacity though.

The loader for the L4060 is the la805. The l3560 takes both la555 or la805....

If lifting bales is a very big part of your equation, you may wish to just wait on the 4060 with the 805 FEL. There's an approximate 600# difference in lifting capacity when you compare the LA555 vs the LA805, no matter which tractor, 3560 or 4060, it's attached to. I know it's no fun waiting, but something to think about. Actually, I believe the LA555 also works on the 4060. If you want to jump the the 4760 you can get the LA1055 and get even more loader capacity.

I have had several BX and several B machines before I settled on the L3560 with cab-...its everything I’ve wanted in a tractor. I have the 555 loader and switch between the bucket and pallet forks. Plenty of power, comfortable cab and great stability. Like the fuel filler low nd the foot throttle is so much better then either the B or BX series. One improvement I would like to see is the seat…just not that comfortable or supportive . Other than that great tractor for this old guy

I have the 4060 but as far as the 805 it’s ok. I’ve had trouble on a few really heavy items but I come from the skid steer world. I also have the construction bucket with add on cutting edge, so that cuts down on capacity a little. You’ll like the GL features though. Seat sucks for sure if you weigh more than 200#+.

Well...taking delivery in about an hour. I will post some pics when it gets here.
I do weigh a hair more than 200# ;) 2331 to be exact. And I got the LA555 so I am hoping it will be enough, it will have to be enough. Worst case is I can sell the 555 and get a 805 down the road if I think its necessary but I am not going to worry about that now. I have to get a pasture cut then get some fescue seed in the ground before it's too late. Kind of scary signing a big note like that, but I think it will pay for itself with hay, bush hog work, and cutting deer food plots. If I can cover $10g per year in work, then I am golden.

agree on the larger loader vs smaller unless he is working with mini bales.
around here the larger round bales (5'X7') can push close to 1,800 pounds and the large squares only 100 or so pounds less.
the small loader won't cut it unless working with the mini rounds vs. the 5'X7's unless of course straw vs hay is very light.

If I remember correctly, they are around 800lbs, I think just a tad more. So the LA555 loader should handle those. Just remember the counter balance.

Nice tractor McBuck! What was the total cost of your set-up? Hope they delivered it full of fuel for you.

you are probably not wrong depending on what is baled/moisture content etc!!
800# is a great average to estimate for mini rounds

Lucky you. There is an L3560 HSTC that I can get, but, no loader! I ordered an L4060HSTC with LA805, and if an LA805 happens to show up, the dealer has me down for it and the L3560 in case an L4060 doesn't show up. This is worse than odering a truck, at least with a truck I can get some insight on when it would be built and delivered, with the tractor, nothing at all can be found out.
