You may want to rethink the kubota insurance. It covers a whole lot more than fire/theft/vandalism. I have never seen a F/T/V policy that will replace a motor or mechanical failure.

Congratulations on a great tractor, I love mine.

In case you might be interested I'll share a few little things that I find useful which I added to my L2501 after I got it. The missing right side grab handle, bucket level indicator rod, and the supplemental air filter which might be on L3901's but is omitted on the 2501. I can't recall if it goes on the inside or outside but it is in addition to the stock one and just slides on.
The other thing is a Titan ballast box filled with stone to counter weight the FEL. I could just leave the flail mower or rear blade on as ballast but the tractor is *much* more maneuverable with the smaller box on, plus it holds my shovel, rake, and loppers. And it's only $285 delivered. Well $300 after buying a couple cans of Kubota orange spray paint to make it match. :)

Awesome! We are LOVING our L2501!

It seems that we have done SOOO much with it already but only 32 hours on the clock. We added a 60" (7 rows of 6 tine flanges) tiller from CountryLine yesterday. We have the hardest most & rock-laden ground known to man.... and you really need to go slow as it REALLY works the L2501.

While I was ready to pay in cash for the tractor, 0% for 84 mos was ultimately too compelling. (Free money) However, when we financed through Kubota, insurance was mandatory - either through them or proof (policy number) of how tractor was covered.

Ahhh yes, I live in Oregon and we are pretty Rocky here as well. As for proof we didn’t have to do that, I mean he hasn’t even asked for the down we said we would give.

Kubota dealers must be of a different (but similar) breed. My L2501 was delivered with the FEL and mower but they didnt have box scraper in stock. They delivered that 2-weeks later..... and never asked me for a dime until everything was delivered. Pretty cool. I guess I had a built-in 2-week trial!

got my 2501 last year. havent regretted it one bit. You will enjoy it. There is a lot more tractor on the L2501 than the other BX and B 25 horse tractors.

1 suggestion I always give new 2501 owners: Spend the $16 and buy the INNER AIR FILTER from messicks online or your local dealer. It takes 5 seconds to install and is good cheap insurance. The L2501 only comes with the outer filter. While youre at it, buy the right hand fender handle. I bought both of these right out ofthe gate with my 2501. That right hand handle is used constantly when driving. The holes are already there, just covered with stickers.

Enjoy!

I second the right-side fender handle. It really is a must-have.

I haven't bought the inner filter for mine yet.

Called the dealer. He had no idea what I was asking and said it doesn’t come on a 2501. Do you have a part number I can grab and just order that

He is correct that it doesnt come on the L2501. It is left off in this model. The air box is built to take it however - kubota just elects not to install it in the L2501. Typically inner filters are more for ag tractors that see lots of long hour use and in dusty fields. BUT, there is no reason not to add it yourself. It acts as a little barrier when you do remove your outer filter to clean it, the inner filter stays on full time and will protect the intake.

here it is at messicks:

https://www.messicks.com/part/ta040-93220/air-filter-inner

You will note just under the picture messicks states "Fits the following models, and can also be used as a Safty filter on L2501\L3301\L3901."
