Hello All,
I have a L1500 that I need to get a PTO over run for but I am not sure how to measure it. It is a 6 spline but I dont know if I need to measure from spline to spline or just the shaft without the splines? Second thing I have seen them in a 1" 1/8 to 1" 1/8 and 1" 1/8 to 1"3/8 and also the 1 3/8 to 1 3/8 since I have a newer brush cutter do I measure its spline in the same fashion as the actual PTO? From what I have read and the measurements I have already take it looks like i will need the 1" 1/8 to 1"3/8 with the 1" 3/8 connecting to my PTO shaft and connected to my attachment. Please let me know your thoughts before I order anything for this or get ready to cut the shaft.

Measure the major diameter of the male spline...across the "teeth". The major diameter of a female spline is across the "slots"
