took off deck to clean and sharpen blades- I've taken this off and on many times...... this time I may have moved it just enough for sleeve to pop off of PTO shaft to deck. So I drive out and go to start blades and WHACK WHACK WHACK! I turn it off and see PTO sleeve has wipped around and hit the deck and tractor floor. SO I take off deck and try to push sleeve back on PTO from deck and it won't go! The key is matched but no go. Talk to a friend on the phone then my neighbor. Cleaned all grooves and lightly filed them. Still will barely pass the edge. Can't hammer it on as it won't float in the sleeve. Appears the WHACKing bent the sleeve from a perfect "O" to an "Oval". SO I tap it on part way and can see which two sides are loose and which are tight. I slightly hammer the two sides that are loose. It goes in some more. 12 taps later and its perfectly fitting again. It moves freely again on the sleeve. Thank god as these new are over $250.
