I have a bush hog I used behind Massy Ferguson 135 with a overrunning clutch. I now have a Kubota L4310 and the PTO shaft is just a bit short, would it hurt any thing if I put the overrunning clutch on 4310's pto to extend it so I can hook up the bush hog?
All help appreciated.

The override clutch can be used as a PTO extension without any problem.

The over run clutch won't hurt a thing but be sure you've got adequate overlap between the two halves of the PTO shaft. I found mine was a bit short to be safe from the dealer and I've been using it that way for fifteen years. I purchased a new shaft and cut it to the proper length to be on the safe side.
