even better, use NAIL POLISH !! Clean the area good, then lay down a line of nail polish. Two coats, should stay on almost forever. It's also makes a great 'poor man's Locktite'...

AND... Clear nail polish works great for sealing small areas of paint, wheel clear coat, etc. etc.
